Background
A leading provider in the US and 100 other countries of healthcare products uses an enterprise CRM (contact relationship management) application that is accessed by employees. Professionals wanted to access their enterprise CRM application from their mobile devices—their iPads and iPhones.
The Challenge
The sales force must have mobile connectivity when travelling to hospitals and facilities in order to access the corporate CRM from their iPads and iPhones to successfully perform their sales functions and duties.
The Solution
IPI served the role of Enterprise Architect for the organization. By analyzing the various components of the architecture, IPI consultants identified a method to securely connect the mobile devices to the corporate network and the tools required to allow the iPad to act as a client with their corporate CRM.
